We are seeking a Customs Broker to join our growing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience to manage different facets of the industry About the Role: The individual would be responsible for processing import shipments, classifying goods using Harmonized System (HS) codes, and ensuring compliance with Canadian customs regulations. This role plays a key part in keeping freight moving efficiently while maintaining accuracy and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Classification & Rating: Classify products accurately using HS codes. Determine applicable tariff treatments, duties, and taxes Documentation & Release: Prepare and process customs entries and releases in a timely manner. Utilize systems such as CADEX to facilitate shipment clearance Compliance: Ensure compliance with CBSA regulations and applicable government agencies (CFIA, NRCan, etc.). Maintain accurate records and documentation Communication: Act as a liaison between clients, carrier
