Manufacture Tasks: Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility. Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements. Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service. Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service. Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs. Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Resolve product and service related problems.
