Salary: $18.17 per hour starting

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our center as a cook. The right person will be working in a team setting, cooking for 56-100 children in a licensed child care center. Duties required will be preparing healthy breakfasts, lunches and snacks, following a 4 week seasonal menu. Doing dishes and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen on a daily basis. Making a list and purchasing groceries on weekly basis. Doing baking as required by the menu. Lifting up to and including 50 lbs will be required. The skills needed for this position would be working well with others in a team setting, good organizational skills and time management. Education required would be Food Safe Level I from the Regina/Qu'Appelle Health Region or equivalent to, and First Aid/CPR Level C. A criminal record check with a vulnerable sector check, would also be required. Being able to write and speak English is a must.
